4 Companies Compete So Subsidized Fuel Distributors Year 2012

Jakarta - Four companies are ready to compete to be the distributor of subsidized fuel in 2012. The four companies are PT Pertamina (Persero), PT AKR Corporindo (AKRA), PT Petronas Niaga Indonesia, and PT Surya Parna Commerce.

This was stated by Head of Oil and Gas Downstream Regulatory (BPH Migas), Tubagus Haryono met in the Parliament Building, Senayan, Thursday (09/08/2011).

"Actually, we invited a lot. But that returns only four companies bidding documents. Pertamina, AKR, Petronas, and Surya Pana Commerce," said Tubagus.

He explains, many companies are retreating in the tender for the BPH Migas is only open opportunities for the distribution of BM Subsidized private companies in areas outside Java-Bali.

As a result, many bidders re-calculate the distribution issue is oil prices in the next year.

"Like for instance, Shell, they sent a letter of resignation in the tender due account for about corporate return. Java-Bali was canceled because we want the development of infrastructure for the outer two islands," he said.

As is known, for this year, BPH Migas has determined that the AKR Corporindo PT Petronas Niaga Indonesia and PT Pertamina as a dealer to assist PSO fuel. AKR and Petronas will distribute subsidized fuel in outer Java-Bali.

Overall, the quota of 38,591,056 KL, Pertamina fuel channel PSO KL 38,467,396 (99.68%), AKR Corporindo distribute as many as 103,220 TOS (0.27%), and PT Petronas Niaga Indonesia distribute as many as 20,440 KL (0.05 %) for the year 2011 (prior to any change in the volume of fuel in the Revised 2011).
