Garuda Indonesia Successfully Wins 'Annual Report Award' for Third Time

Jakarta - Garuda Indonesia for a third time again managed to win the "Annual Report Award" as the first winner in the category "Non-Listed Non Financial Enterprises". The same award received by Garuda Indonesia in 2008 and 2009. The award was accepted by the Director of Strategy, Business Development and Risk Management of PT. Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, Achirina of the Minister of Finance, Agus Martowardojo in an event held at the Hotel Ritz Carlton - Pacific Place, Jakarta (09/14).

"Annual Report Award" is an annual event held since 2002 in cooperation with the capital market regulator Directorate General of Taxation, the Ministry of SOEs, Bank Indonesia, Indonesia Stock Exchange, National Committee on Governance and Accounting Association of Indonesia. The purpose of ARA is organizing an effort to improve information disclosure and implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in the sector of the business world.

"Annual Report Award" this year attended by 191 participants, where the number is up from previous years as many as 167 participants. Criteria for assessment of the "Annual Report Award 2010" among others, include aspects of Good Corporate Governance (30%), management analysis and discussion on performance management (25%), financial information (20%) as well as several other criteria that meet the weight up to 100%.

For Garuda Indonesia, this award is an affirmation of the company's commitment to continually apply the principle - the principle of Good Corporate Governance in running their business activities.
